Ben Nicky presents TECHFK + Darren Styles

BEN NICKY PRESENTS TECHFK + DARREN STYLES at Motion and Marble Factory Fri 3 May 2019 from 10pm - 5am

It’s always a special occasion when Ben Nicky returns to home soil, and this time round we’re sure to see him raise the bar yet again!

Over the last couple of years Ben has become one of dance music’s busiest and strongest selling DJs in the world. Racking up over half a million air-miles last year alone, selling out major global iconic venues on his own plus regularly featuring on the worlds’ largest festival line ups including Tomorrowland, EDC, Ultra Music Festival, Creamfields, Paradiso, Spring Awakening and many more. His releases have been signed to Mad Decent, Ultra & Spinnin’ Records with his musical style cleverly crossing a full spectrum of genres including Trance, Psy Trance, Techno, Hardstyle, Bounce to name just a few.

On Friday 3rd May the Bristol native will be introducing us to his darker, techier sound: TECHFK and we can’t wait to see what he has in store! Ben will also be joined on the night by legendary DJ & Producer cohort Darren Styles, an artist who’s name is well renowned across the globe as being responsible for some of dance music’s most era defining records. Worthy of headliner status in his own right, with these two at the helm the west country is in for a real treat come early May bank holiday weekend.

Set in the heart of Bristol, an old converted skatepark with a network of warehouses, cobbled front courtyard and large outdoor riverside terrace provide a unique backdrop for large scale music events.

Motion promotes forward thinking music in all of its fabulous forms and through this we have been fortunate enough to work with some of the world's leading artists, DJs and music brands. Come on down and see what all the fuss is about!

As of August 2014 the Motion complex of venues in Bristol has announced the expansion of it's operations to include live music, comedy, theatre, cinema, exhibitions and bespoke festivals in addition to the huge club events that Motion is already known and loved for. Motion, which is known to host some of the city’s largest club events, has teamed up with the Bristol-based MJR Group to launch the venue.

The move has seen a new 550 capacity venue open within the site called 'The Marble Factory'. This is in addition to it's main room or whole complex offerings which can scale up to 2,500 capacity.
