GEORGIA ANNE MULDROW at Fiddlers Tue 9 April 2019 from 08:00 pm

**Rescheduled from Thu 8 Nov 2018**

Georgia Anne Muldrow, the artist who introduced the world to the phrase “stay woke”, is an undeniable force on the LA hip-hop / jazz / soul avant-garde scene. Impossible to pigeonhole and simmering with “psychedelic, jazz-inflected neo-soul sensibility” (Pitchfork), Muldrow has worked with the likes of Madlib, Robert Glasper and now Ninja Tune. This intimate gig is the perfect moment to experience Muldrow, as she channels Badu and Simone through Bjork-like arrangements and an “elastic, ever-invigorated, truly wondrous voice” (COS).

Fiddlers Nightclub is a 450 capacity, family run venue in a small back street in Bedminster.

Although slightly off the beaten track, Fiddlers has an impeccable layout and exemplary sound system. Mostly standing, with a few chairs and tables, the sightlines to the stage are excellent and the well-stocked bar is easily accessed.

Fiddlers is an over 18s venue unless otherwise stated. Doors generally open at 8.30pm and although most acts end around midnight, the bar stays open till late.

Parking issues since the Resident Parking scheme are better as the council have suspended the Double yellows at the club from 8pm – 6am to allow customers to park near the venue.

N.B. Like most venues, The Fiddlers operates a 'Challenge 25' policy. If you are lucky enough to look Under 25, BRING ID as Entry will be refused and you are not necessarily entitled to a refund
