BRISTOL FESTIVAL OF LITERATURE - HOW THE WEST WAS LOST. WITH THE BARD OF WINDMILL HILL at The Lansdown Pub Thu 25 October 2018 from 8.00 pm - 10.00 pm


The Bard of Windmill Hill has won accolades as a poet, performer and teacher. In a BBC interview, Dr Phil Hammond commented that “the range and scope is huge”. He is the only poet to have won the Bristol Storyteller of the Year slam and has published four acclaimed collections.

Most of the time The Lansdown masquerades as just a friendly clifton village pub with good food and nice atmosphere. On some nights however the topfloor is hired out to some scalliwags who do rather a good job of putting folk and acoustica nights.
