Bristol Festival of Literature - Suspension with North Bristol Writers Group

BRISTOL FESTIVAL OF LITERATURE - SUSPENSION WITH NORTH BRISTOL WRITERS GROUP at Clifton Suspension Bridge Visitor Centre Thu 25 October 2018 from 18.30 - 20.00

A view from the bridge? We may not have Arthur Miller, but at North Bristol Writers we can certainly spin a yarn. You may recall our grisly sell out Graveyard Tales last year. Our theme this year is suspension and if you want to know what eclectic mix we have in store, you’ll have to come along to the Suspension Bridge Visitor Centre to find out. How’s that for keeping you in suspense?

Members of the group are infused with talent, have been widely published and have previously performed at many other Bristol events such as Sanctum, Talking Tales and FarmFest. There will be an opportunity to purchase the group's latest anthology after the event.

Refreshments available.

Tickets: £5.00

Our brand new Visitor Information Centre is situated at the Leigh Woods end of the bridge. It contains information about the competition to design the bridge, its construction and completion and how it is maintained today. You can watch a DVD about the bridge, see objects from our collection (including stereoscopic images and original souvenirs) and browse our shop, where you'll find  books, postcards and souvenirs. Although we do not have a cafe, we sell luxury ice cream - and you can visit our Coffee Cart during the summer season or find plenty of places to eat and drink in Clifton Village.
