65DAYSOFSTATIC: DECOMPOSITION THEORY at Band Film Studio Wed 21 November 2018 from 08:00 pm

Colston Hall Presents 65daysofstatic: Decomposition Theory

Fresh from their critically acclaimed sound track to No Man’s Sky video game, and as active contributors to the burgeoning live-coding and ‘algorave’ scenes, with Decomposition Theory, 65daysofstatic once again prove themselves to be a band that are “constantly evolving” (The Independent).

Set in the pop up venue Band Film Studio, this live A/V performance uses visuals to reveal the inner workings of 65’s musical algorithms. Judging by their previous work this immersive show will leave you “wide-eyed with wonder” (Line of Best Fit).

Band Studios came to life in 2013.

We spent eight months completely renovating a Brislington industrial unit into a high quality two-studio facility to serve the creative industries in Bristol, Bath and beyond.

We built the studios to be a place people want to come and work. To us that means offering high quality production spaces that allow our clients to get the most out of their shoot time, as well as offering comfortable areas and facilities away from the studios themselves.

We spent a great deal of time identifying the right location for our studios. As a result we have great transport links for the M4/M32 and the A4, just a few minutes from Bristol Temple Meads. We also have a great variety of conveniences nearby, from Sainsburys and Marks and Spencer for food, to The Range, Currys and Argos for any bits and pieces our clients might need for their shoot.

Band was built, and is run by brothers Pete and Tom Martin, both of whom have worked in video production for many years, which means we understand our clients requirements and can offer expert advice when needed.
