John Joseph Wardle (born 11 August 1958), known by the stage name Jah Wobble, is an English bass guitarist, singer, poet and composer. He became known to a wider audience as the original bass player in Public Image Ltd (PiL) in the late 1970s and early 1980s, but left the band after two albums. Following his departure from PiL, he went on to a successful solo career, continuing to the present.

Jah Wobble's Invaders of the Heart was formed in 1983, a group with a fluid line-up with Wardle, Justin Adams, Mark Ferda and David Harrow as the band's most constant members – guests included pedal steel guitarist B.J. Cole and percussionist Neville Murray.

Fiddlers Nightclub is a 450 capacity, family run venue in a small back street in Bedminster.

Although slightly off the beaten track, Fiddlers has an impeccable layout and exemplary sound system. Mostly standing, with a few chairs and tables, the sightlines to the stage are excellent and the well-stocked bar is easily accessed.

Fiddlers is an over 18s venue unless otherwise stated. Doors generally open at 8.30pm and although most acts end around midnight, the bar stays open till late.

Parking issues since the Resident Parking scheme are better as the council have suspended the Double yellows at the club from 8pm – 6am to allow customers to park near the venue.

N.B. Like most venues, The Fiddlers operates a 'Challenge 25' policy. If you are lucky enough to look Under 25, BRING ID as Entry will be refused and you are not necessarily entitled to a refund
