Sunrise is an event that has been recognised time and again winning multiple awards over the years including but not limited to the Guardian and Observer newspapers ‘Ethical Travel Award’, The Shelter award for ‘Most Socially Responsible Festival’ and The Green Parents ‘Best Green Festival Award’.

  • You may be asked to show your wristband at any time, failure to show an un-tampered with wristband worn on your wrist with appropriate tightness (tight enough that it can’t be slipped off and on again) may lead to immediate removal from the festival.

  • If you require more space than 6mx4m then you must purchase an additional live-in vehicle pass and display both clearly in your campervan/caravan at all times.

  • Any vehicles that may be doing trips on and off of site during the event must be parked in the car park.

Fire

  • We love having fires at Sunrise and there will be communal fires all over the site but you are also welcome to have your own as long as you follow the safety rules:
  • You have made yourself aware of the closest fire points and have your own way of distinguishing your fire
  • All fires and BBQ’s are off the ground in a brazier or similar (to contain the fire more safely, stop spreading and protect the ground)
  • You are aware of nearby tents, trees etcetera and are not putting anyone/anything at risk
  • Fires are of a reasonable height (no bonfires in the campsite!)
  • No burning unsuitable materials (stick to firewood!)
  • No burning the wood from the forest (it provides habitats for wildlife and plants, firewood will be available on site and you are welcome to bring your own)

Customer Review From 2017

"We absolutely loved it. The location was beautiful, beautiful. Well away from everywhere, woods in all directions, amazing view of the surrounding hills. I can’t imagine anything more ideal!
The size was perfect (I.e., number of people, area m2, etc.). The organisation was ideal. Most of the music was excellent. (Obviously, it’s seldom that a festival will actually replicate one’s vinyl collection…)
And although it doesn’t need to be said, the feeling and atmosphere was really real!
We are all very, very happy! We can’t wait for next year.
With very warm regards"
