Terms and Conditions
Before you enter our store please read the terms and conditions below..
Booking tickets through our site means that you understand and agree to all
our terms and conditions.
Be aware that when you purchase tickets via the internet you are entering into
a legally binding contract.
Ticket supply is dependant on compliance with T&C.
When we supply you with tickets we have fulfilled our contract as an agent.
Under agency law any further contract is between you and the principal (i.e.
the promoter or the venue)
Ordering Process
Having selected your tickets you may proceed to the checkout where
you may select the applicable postal method. You will be informed of the total
charges which apply. Please check these carefully before entering our secure
payment site to enter your card details. (These details are protected and never
stored)
While we do store names and addresses of our customers for our own accounting
purposes we do not use them in conjunction with any advertising nor are they
ever made available to third parties. (So NO Spam)
Despatch
Most tickets are despatched within 24 hours of orders being placed and should
arrive within a couple of days.
However, some promotors do not issue tickets for larger shows until a few weeks before
the event. On the Home page you will find a link labelled Tickets for dispatch Here you will find a list of tickets that fall into this category. You should be able to tell at a glance whether your tickets
have been dispatched or have not yet been distributed by the Promotor.
The confirmation of receipt is computer-generated and not a contract. It means we have received the order.
Do not worry. We never sell tickets without written authority from the organisers.
Feel free to ring and check on the status of the order during office hours (0117
9299008)-(9.30am to 6pm Mon-Sat)
You may cancel your order within seven days of purchase providing that
tickets are returned and reach us PRIOR to the date of the show. (In the event
of a dispute, proof of delivery must be provided i.e recorded or special delivery)
After this period, monies are only refundable at the discretion of the principal
for instance, when a concert is cancelled or rescheduled. In theory, the principal
may choose to handle refunds but in practice they are normally handled from
point of purchase
Postal and Booking fees are administration charges and are not refundable except
in cases of manifest error.
Cancellation and Right of Admission
We do endeavor to make customers aware of cancellations but
Please check
with us or the venue on the day of the show. A quick phone call could save needless
expense and disappointment.
We are not obliged to contact you in the event of a cancellation and will not
be responsible for any expenses, such as accommodation or travel, made by you if you try to attend a cancelled
event.
Many ISPs have default settings which label any communication from a 'trader' as spam. This means that many of the emails we send go straight into a 'spambox'. Check your settings. Check your spambox. If the message is important we will attempt to phone you but for cancellations this is not a viable option.
Reselling is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to cancel any order where, for whatever reason, we suspect that is the intention of the purchaser.
Right of admission is reserved by the venue/promoter. In the event of refusal
you should claim your refund from them .We are unable to sort out any disputes
between you and the venue/promoter or give refunds without the explicit permission
of the promoter.
Remember to check age-limitations. Under 18's are not admitted to nightclubs.
We cannot accept responsibility if you are refused admission.
The information on this web site is not infallible. Mistakes can be made. Information
about acts is believed to be correct at the time of printing. We cannot guarantee
these acts will appear and most promoters reserve the right to change the act,
venue and date. (This is a fairly standard protection clause. In real life it
is unlikely to happen without the customer being compensated)
In the event of a price being mis-advertised on this site or changed by the
promoter. we reserve the right to withdraw the item from sale.
Please check your tickets on receipt and inform us of any discrepancies immediately
as mistakes cannot always be rectified later.
Items highlighted as requiring Special Delivery cannot be re-issued under any circumstances. If you choose to have them posted by any other means, then you do so at your own risk. We will not be able to compensate you if they do not arrive. We will attempt to contact you should you opt for standard delivery to ensure you are aware of this.
Look after your tickets. We can only reissue tickets if the show is:
1: allocated seating and
2: you have a record of the seat numbers and
3:the promoter allows it.
We cannot compensate or transfer lost tickets.
Complaints
Should you be dissatisfied with our service, please contact us with full details
of your complaint via mail@bristolticketshop.co.uk
.
We will attempt to deal with any complaints quickly and fairly.
(Please remember we are not the promoters and cannot really help with complaints
pertaining to the quality or otherwise of individual performances. These need
to be directed to the promotor or venue.
As a general rule, should you be informed of a change in circumstances prior
to entering the Venue, the decision to enter the venue would be interpreted
as an acceptance of the new terms)
Customer Obligation
We know bad things happen occasionally. We know Monday morning is not a good
time. Please remember we are here to help you. The staff are committed to our
customers. They are not obliged to listen to you if your manner is insulting.
Terms and conditions printed here are intended to comply with UK law and do
not affect your statutory rights.
